So, in less than two weeks I'll be heading off to Turkey (and later in the summer to some place in da Netherlandsss) and as you might already know, I'm pretty excited for that. For some reason, going on holiday always means I need new summer clothes (or actually it is just a really good excuse...) and so last Friday I went to Rotterdam to spend some money (and I thought I deserved it since I earned the money myself!). In this post I will show you guys what I bought. :)

The weather in Holland is slowly getting better and that's good, because I have only 1,5 days left and then my summer break begins! I can't even believe it. This year flew by so super fast. About my opinion on the past school year, you can read right here. The fact I'm aaalmost done with school, means I'll soon have time again for a bunch of other things! Not that I never had time to do other things than working on school this whole year, but I am now allowed to change my priorities and that feels really good.

And now all kinds of Tumblr people will come to me and tell me I am stupid in order to defend themselves and Tumblr, but aren't you curious for the reasons behind my opinion? Because I have tons. And I have to be honest, I have been a Tumblr user myself for years. I spent hours on the it and really liked it. Until some things started to bother me and I decided to take my Tumblr account down. I recently came across this Facebook page called 'Shit Tumblr says' (the page is hilarious) and it made me dislike Tumblr even more. In this blog post I'd like to explain my slowly forming hate towards Tumblr to you. And by the way, if you're a Tumblr user, don't take it too personally. :) (this seems to be something I have to state in every article of mine lately).

The people who have been following my blog for a longer period of time, might know that I used to write a blog post (almost) every month in which I shared my favorite music of the moment. Well, those people might also have noticed that I stopped writing those articles a little while ago. I am not planning on writing these articles on a monthly basis again. Although, music is one of my greatest passions (as well as playing it as listening to it) and so I think my 'favorite songs of the moment' deserve to be shared on my blog every now and then. So, in this article I will tell you what songs have made me hit the replay button multiple times the past few weeks and why. Enjoy!

First, let me make this clear: this blogpost is not an insult towards boys or whatever and my opinion is absolutely not the truth. Boys, don't take anything in this article personal and especially don't take it too seriously. :) 

Those who follow me on Twitter, may have noticed that 99,9% of my Tweets contain stuff about guys/boys/men/whatever you want to call the other species and so it may seem pwettyyy clear that I'm into them. I may seem like I like everything about them boys. Well, that's not exactly true (of course not, it wouldn't be healthy and just... too obsessive and weird?). There are a few things that boys do/wear/say/etcetera and which makes me shake my head (and think: WHY!?!!?). I could generalise my opinion and change the title of this blogpost into 'What girls don't understand about boys', but I know that my opinion is not every girls' opinion. So, in this article I am just going to share my uninteresting opinion with you about what I don't really understand about boys. I was gonna say ''Boys, take notes!'', but that would be a little useless, unless you're hella interested in me, of course (ha-ha).

First things first, I have no idea what my type of school is called in other countries (talking about middle school, high school, college, etc.). In The Netherlands it is called 'MBO' level 4(+, as my journalism teacher once said!), literally translated: "middle-level applied education", some type of vocational training(?) you can do after you have graduated on 'vmbo' level ("preparatory middle-level applied education"). You might already understand that the Dutch school system is completely different from the English, American or any other school system and so it is hard to explain what sort of school I go to. Anyway, I'm learning about something specific (which is editorial assistance), plus I have finished high school last year and therefore I will just say I am going to college since this year. And this first year of college has almost, almost come to an end. It's crazy how time flies by... when your having fun?

Isn't it funny how our parents always told us to never ever talk to strangers on the internet, while the internet nowadays is full of websites where you can meet new people and talk to them? I am not ashamed when I tell you I have met many people on the world wide web. I talk to them, even consider some of them as my friends.

I think there is nothing wrong with meeting people on the internet, becoming friends with them or even start a romance, but I also think there has to be balance between your 'internet life' and the real life. The people you meet on the internet may not live nearby you and I think it's not okay to forget about your friends who live close by and replace them for your internet friends. Having friends on the internet might also sound kind of pathetic in some way and so I think it's important to have a sort of limit for how many people you're meeting on the internet. Not only because of the pathetic sense, but also for your own good. Your internet friends can't come over to spend the evening with you and watch a movie or something, you can't go to their house if one day you feel like you have nowhere else to go. They can't be there for you like a friend in real life can.

I believe the summer is finally breaking through here in Holland, because we Dutch people have been blessed with some nice weather these past few days. Yesterday it was 32° degrees outside and today the weather was very nice as well, so my mom decided it was time for a picnic in the park. I wasn't allowed to bring my phone with me (because: addicted (and so today felt a little like a rehab to me, hahaha), but I did bring my camera with me and so I took some pictures. Of course I am going to share them with you in this blog post. I really enjoy photography, although I'm not very good at it yet. Fortunately, practice makes (almost) perfect!

So, fiiiinally I've managed to find a nice Blogger template that actually looks pretty good. As you might have noticed already (I hope you have, haha) this post is written in English and so you might already know where this is going... I am going to continue my blog in English! I'm pretty excited, but also nervous, because I'm not sure if my English will always be 'perfectly' fine and I don't want to make too many mistakes, since I'm always so convinced of my ''good'' English. The reason why I want to continue my blog in English is because I want to improve my English writing skills and it would've been nice if the non-Dutch people who visit my blog, could read what I am writing on here as well. Anywayyy, this blogpost will be about... me! I guess more people from other countries than Holland will be visiting my blog now (at least I hope so) and therefore I will introduce myself in this post. In a different way than I normally do, thought. You'll see what I mean.
