I am going to be honest and tell you right away that I based this idea for a new blog post on my own experiece(s). But if I never had been in love with some guy who coincidentally plays a musical instrument, I'd probably have thought the same thing for multiple reasons: it's ridiculously easy to fall in love with a musician.

I play keyboard and therefore I believe I can say I am a musician myself and also I believe we musicians have some sort of specific way of thinking. Musicians are very creative people and tend to be very emotional(?) as well. I actually once read about a study that has proven that a musician's brain does, in fact, work differently from any other 'normal' brain. And that, plus the fact that it's just really sexy when a guy (considering the fact I'm straight, right? I'm only speaking for myself after all) has this great passion for music, makes musicians so very very very attractive. And please know that I am not saying I am attractive myself just because I play a musical instrument. That'd be very weird and I'm aware of that. Hahaha. AND of course, somebody could play fifteen instruments, but be a total jerk and he (of she) still wouldn't be attractive. I know that.

I actually did some research while writing this post and I came across this article. This article doesn't prove my statement is true (it's still an opinion, just like this article of mine), but it does prove that I am not the only one with this 'experience'. You can read the whole article by clicking on the link, but I quoted the first part for you. I think it's beautifully written and really true.

''When you fall in love with a musician, it will wash over your insides like a force you’ve never known. You will marvel at its impact and find yourself changed in its wake. What was that? you’ll ask, and there he’ll be: your very own, bonafide music-maker.

You’ll fall for his presence, his charisma and confidence. You’ll feel powerful and sensual and creative when he’s near, like glitter has been embedded into everything in your waking consciousness—quite suddenly, you will see the world how it was meant to be seen. For if ever there was a connection to the ethereal, therein music lies the conduit.

A musician doesn’t leave music on the stage, that’s his special power: it pumps through miles of veins. Stretched end to end, his veins and arteries can wrap the globe, so it’s no wonder that his very pulse stirs you so. As he moves through rooms, it fills the space around him. As he sits still, it buzzes over skin. Music is in his heart, his speech, his gait and his smile.

That’s what you’ll fall for.''

Especially the one but last sentence makes me want to crawl my eyeballs out, lay on the floor and scream - ''That's sooo charming, Romana.'' It's just true. On the other hand, when you're in love, all about the person you're in love with seems perfect and the fact you've fallen in love with them seems to be more logical than anything, but still, it's truly a privilege to fall in love with a musician. And as I said, it's easy in some way (for me, at least).
So, what's my point with this article? I have no idea. I've just come to known that it is - as I said before, for the millionth time -  ridiculously easy to fall for someone who plays a musical instrument, for many reasons.

Alright, that's it. Maybe I should start considering writing posts that are less empty. Articles that actually make you feel something or teach you something. Oh well. After all this is my blog and I can write anything I want on here. Thank you for reading anyways.

Love!

Dankjewel!
